I'm trying to run the astrocade roms in the mess emulator and I have the latest update. But when I'm trying to run the games the emulator says that the 'astro.bin NOT FOUND'. It seems like there are som files I need to have to play the games. Garmin ique 3600 accessories. It was the same thing with the Channel F games but I've found the file so I could run that system.
I have the rom files and they are.bin, so it's not that I'm missing the roms. Anyone who knows, who are familiar with the MESS/Astrocade emulation, where I can find this astro.bin file somewhere? Need to set/define a 'system' rom folder for retroarch in settings->Directories (CHECK - Mine was set by default to 'settings' as a RetroArch root subfolder) 2. Simply, you need the bios rom. When you use a real Bally/Astrocade, there are built in games/programs and a menu program which allows you to play your selected cartridge.
This file needs to be in the ROMS folder (same as the Channel F one you mentioned). It cannot run without it. It should be called 'astrocde.zip' and contain that astro.bin that is needed by MESS.
